Blanket, board and paper have different physical forms and retention requirements. Grade, density requirement and thickness need to be stated together.

Inspection and documents for the selected item

Request grade identification and the agreed dimensional or thermal test basis for the specified product.

Identify the drawing revision, acceptance criteria and the records that must accompany the order. If an independent inspection, witness point or special test is required, include its method and scope in the RFQ.

Handling, installation and replacement

Keep blankets supported and follow the material's handling instructions. Fit layers and retainers to the equipment insulation design.

Custom supply, samples and purchasing details

State grade; thickness; density requirement; roll or cut size; layers. Identify whether you need stock material, cut blanks or finished profiles, and include the conversion drawing when cutting is part of the supply.

Give the quantity for each grade and size, the required date and delivery destination. Request the MOQ, samples, material records and production timing for those line items rather than one category-wide figure.
