Identify the drawing revision, acceptance criteria and the records that must accompany the order. If an independent inspection, witness point or special test is required, include its method and scope in the RFQ.

Provide the shaft or stem diameter, stuffing-box bore and usable depth, then state fiber designation; impregnation; section; ring or coil supply; equipment conditions. Separate rotating, reciprocating and valve-stem duties in the inquiry.
Ask whether the quotation covers a continuous coil, cut lengths or a prepared ring set. MOQ, sample supply, documents and lead time should be confirmed for the specified fiber, treatment and dimensions.
