Separate the filler material from the gasket assembly
Vermiculite does not identify the complete sealing element. Distinguish the material construction, carrier or reinforcement and finished joint profile. A vermiculite-filled winding or faced metal core requires the complete assembly description rather than only its filler name.
- Spiral Wound Gaskets: A winding has its own ring and metal specification.
- Kammprofile Gaskets: A faced core requires both core and facing identification.
Fit, inspection and installation review
Request the grade-specific material information and inspection scope. Confirm flange condition and assembly requirements before fitting.
Custom requirements and quotation scope
Send the vermiculite gaskets specification with the drawing revision and quantity for each item. Include the delivery destination, required date, sample requirements and the documents that must accompany the order.
MOQ, lead time, sample scope and payment terms are confirmed in the itemized quotation. State EXW, FOB or CIF with the named place or port when requesting a shipping basis. Any custom processing, tooling and independent inspection should be identified separately.
