Cut mica rings and flat profiles illustrate the available component forms. Specify the material construction, thickness and gasket drawing for the intended joint.
Mica construction and reinforcement come first
A mica gasket needs an identified construction and binder, with reinforcement specified where applicable. Flat rings and complex profiles require different drawing detail. The photographs show component forms; they do not establish an operating limit for every mica grade.
- Mica Sheets & Paper: Identify the sheet behind the finished gasket.
- Mica Paper: Paper and rigid sheet are separate material forms.
Fit, inspection and installation review
Review edge condition and dimensions after cutting. Support thin profiles during handling to avoid damage before assembly.
Custom requirements and quotation scope
Send the mica gaskets specification with the drawing revision and quantity for each item. Include the delivery destination, required date, sample requirements and the documents that must accompany the order.
MOQ, lead time, sample scope and payment terms are confirmed in the itemized quotation. State EXW, FOB or CIF with the named place or port when requesting a shipping basis. Any custom processing, tooling and independent inspection should be identified separately.
