Define the equipment and duty
Record equipment drawing, gasket profile, partition dimensions, thickness, material, service conditions and quantity.
Separate the dimensions and material from the service conditions. An equipment name or a photograph does not establish the sealing construction. If the existing designation is incomplete, identify the unresolved fields in the RFQ.
Relevant product ranges
Compare these products by construction and by the requirements of the selected equipment.

Metal Jacketed Gaskets
A metallic jacket encloses the filler to form a composite gasket.
- Product form
- Double-jacketed and drawing-based configurations
- Ordering dimensions
- Complete drawing
A standard reference identifies dimensions or design requirements; it does not certify every material for the service.

Kammprofile Gaskets
A serrated metal core with a sealing facing.
- Construction
- Serrated metal core with graphite or PTFE facing
- Centering options
- Basic, integral outer ring or loose outer ring
A standard reference identifies dimensions or design requirements; it does not certify every material for the service.

Graphite Gaskets
Cut graphite gaskets for flat sealing joints.
- Product form
- Unreinforced graphite; metal-foil and metal-mesh reinforcement
- Ordering dimensions
- Drawing
A standard reference identifies dimensions or design requirements; it does not certify every material for the service.

Before you confirm the order
- Check the drawing revision and units.
- Identify the material or selected grade rather than only a generic name.
- State the required dimensions, construction and quantities.
- Define inspection records and acceptance requirements.
- Confirm the named delivery basis and requested date.
Performance values need to refer to the selected grade and operating duty. Pressure, temperature and speed maxima should not be combined into an assumed operating envelope.
Application questions
What information is needed for heat exchanger joints?
Send equipment drawing, gasket profile, partition dimensions, thickness, material, service conditions and quantity. Include drawings or existing part references where available.
Can you confirm the material from a photograph?
A photograph can help identify the form, but it does not establish material grade or the original dimensions. Provide the material specification and equipment or process details for review.
Discuss your heat exchanger joints requirement
Send your product list, drawing revision, materials, dimensions, quantities and delivery destination. Cindy will coordinate the quotation and any questions about the specification.
