Connect bellows design to system movement
Bellows material, connection geometry, restraints and installed space must refer to the same pipe or duct system drawing. Nominal line size does not define the complete metal joint or acceptance test. Keep design conditions with the movement requirement during review.
- Expansion Joints: Separate the different assembly constructions.
- Flexible Metal Hoses: A hose needs a separate routing and braid specification.
Fit, inspection and installation review
Send the pipe layout and installation envelope. Agree the design review, test records and installation instructions for the complete assembly.
Custom requirements and quotation scope
Send the metal expansion joints specification with the drawing revision and quantity for each item. Include the delivery destination, required date, sample requirements and the documents that must accompany the order.
MOQ, lead time, sample scope and payment terms are confirmed in the itemized quotation. State EXW, FOB or CIF with the named place or port when requesting a shipping basis. Any custom processing, tooling and independent inspection should be identified separately.
