Review hose, braid and fittings as one assembly
Identify the metal-hose construction, braid arrangement, length and end fittings. Routing and movement form part of the review. Finished length and fitting orientation should refer to the same drawing so hose-only supply is not compared with a complete assembly.
- Industrial Hoses: Name the construction and conveyed medium.
- Metal Expansion Joints: A bellows joint uses a different movement and installation description.
Fit, inspection and installation review
Provide the routing and movement details. Agree assembly inspection and testing, and avoid twisting the hose during installation.
Custom requirements and quotation scope
Send the flexible metal hoses specification with the drawing revision and quantity for each item. Include the delivery destination, required date, sample requirements and the documents that must accompany the order.
MOQ, lead time, sample scope and payment terms are confirmed in the itemized quotation. State EXW, FOB or CIF with the named place or port when requesting a shipping basis. Any custom processing, tooling and independent inspection should be identified separately.
