Choose foam stock and installed profile together
A foam gasket combines cellular material, cut shape and assembled gap. Identify holes, thin webs and adhesive side on the drawing. Cutting accuracy cannot compensate for an unresolved material or compression allowance in the joint.
- Foam Sheets: Sheet supply does not automatically include profile cutting.
- Sponge Rubber Gaskets: Rubber-based cellular gaskets need a named compound.
Custom requirements and quotation scope
Send the foam gaskets specification with the drawing revision and quantity for each item. Include the delivery destination, required date, sample requirements and the documents that must accompany the order.
MOQ, lead time, sample scope and payment terms are confirmed in the itemized quotation. State EXW, FOB or CIF with the named place or port when requesting a shipping basis. Any custom processing, tooling and independent inspection should be identified separately.
