Cell structure and compression are separate choices

Closed-cell sponge rubber needs an identified compound and cellular construction. Density or thickness alone does not describe the finished part under compression. Retain the installed gap and acceptance requirement with the material specification; list adhesive backing separately.

Custom requirements and quotation scope

Send the closed cell sponge rubber specification with the drawing revision and quantity for each item. Include the delivery destination, required date, sample requirements and the documents that must accompany the order.

MOQ, lead time, sample scope and payment terms are confirmed in the itemized quotation. State EXW, FOB or CIF with the named place or port when requesting a shipping basis. Any custom processing, tooling and independent inspection should be identified separately.

Fit, inspection and installation review

Confirm the required cell structure on the sample. Define compression-test conditions when a controlled sealing force is needed.
