Handling, installation and replacement

Follow the gland and injection-system instructions. Confirm isolation, servicing and operating procedures with the equipment owner before maintenance.

Request material identification, handling instructions and the agreed acceptance checks for the selected sealant.

Identify the drawing revision, acceptance criteria and the records that must accompany the order. If an independent inspection, witness point or special test is required, include its method and scope in the RFQ.

Custom supply, samples and purchasing details

Provide the shaft or stem diameter, stuffing-box bore and usable depth, then state sealant type; required quantity; cartridge or bulk form; gland arrangement; injection connection. Separate rotating, reciprocating and valve-stem duties in the inquiry.

Ask whether the quotation covers a continuous coil, cut lengths or a prepared ring set. MOQ, sample supply, documents and lead time should be confirmed for the specified fiber, treatment and dimensions.
