Handling, installation and replacement
Protect the braid from crushing and uncontrolled contamination. Plan cutting, retention and replacement according to the equipment and material instructions.
Inspection and documents for the selected item
Request the selected grade data and dimensional checks. Any thermal or mechanical acceptance requirement needs its own stated test basis.
Identify the drawing revision, acceptance criteria and the records that must accompany the order. If an independent inspection, witness point or special test is required, include its method and scope in the RFQ.

Provide the shaft or stem diameter, stuffing-box bore and usable depth, then state section shape and size; reinforcement; length or rings; equipment duty; quantity. Separate rotating, reciprocating and valve-stem duties in the inquiry.
Ask whether the quotation covers a continuous coil, cut lengths or a prepared ring set. MOQ, sample supply, documents and lead time should be confirmed for the specified fiber, treatment and dimensions.
